Or more precisely, this is a blog about me trying to figure out what everyone under 30 already knows intuitively. I'm the editor of Capital Business, a new weekly business publication from The Washington Post. I'm also the author of Columbia Talk, a random roundup of local news tidbits located at columbiatalk.blogspot.com. The material here is something I prepare in my free time and it is only tangentially related to my work for the newspaper, since I'm also experimenting with new media there. I'm a longtime Columbia resident. I moved to Wilde Lake in 1969, and I now reside in Oakland Mills.
